Rating: OOOXX

I guess I was feeling seasonal when I bought this beer. The weather is changing and I get excited about that. So i took a trip to the grocery store. The grocery had their Halloween display aisle where u can find the life-sized plastic dead butler looking animatronic guy with the blinky red eyes that cackles and sways when you pass by. Upon his tray, something new, something that spoke to my alcoholic Charlie Brown loving psyche. A pumpkin flavored beer . The label is what enticed me. It had "Waiting for the Great Pumpkin" written all over it. It’s almost like Snoopy came up & lifted his leg and peed on my shoulder. And that’s just how it tasted like. Well… i’m being harsh. It’s an OK beer. The first 2 sips where pumpkin like and festive. Then is started to taste like Heineken. I guess it’s like the kick off of a season, you get excited about it the 1st month, then u get sick of it after the next 3. Any recipes? I know the Blue Moon wheat beer is pretty good with an orange. Should i pour this into a jack o lantern? Am i getting ahead of myself here?

Hey! A recipe! Spinach & Mushroom Peanut Sauce with Rice

This one is dedicated to my vegetarian pals :) I do partake in the occasional feast of flesh b/c unfortunately I am half zombie. Every now and again I feel like sparing the living. So i make this tasty dish. This has enough protein to satisfy an anemic zombie!
What u need:

  • 2 boxes of frozen spinach, u might want to defrost them just a bit
  • Fresh dried chilli (not powder) I use 4. Use at your discretion. It can get spicy.
  • 1 lb of button mushrooms, diced
  • 2-3 tbsp Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoon of veg or olive oil
  • OPTIONAL: Handful of peanuts of cashews
  • Serve with brown, basmati or white rice. I like white rice ;)
  • What to do:

With a wooden spoon, mash up tomatoes, peanut butter and chiles. Meanwhile, heat oil (medium high) in wok or frying pan. Add the mixture when the oil is hot. Have fun and stir like a crazy person. Wait until tomato sauce starts to bubble and is orange at the sides. Add the spinach and diced onions. (turn burner to medium) Wait until the spinach melts. Keep stirring. Add the mushrooms and peanuts. Go stir crazy for 3 more minutes. Ur done. Serve on top of rice.

    Dog Diarrhea: Did you know?

    Â

Banjo  My dog Banjo had the nastiest, explosive, jelly like diarreah. He had to go out often. It was a disturbance in the small intestine. I learned this from Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats. This is an excellent book to have if you are a pet owner. I’ve purchased several books, and this one has been the most effective. The Purpose of Diarrhea. Diarrhea is a way for the intestines to fight against irritation such as worms, bacteria, viruses, spoiled or toxic foods, allergic foods, indigestable things such as hair, cloth, bone or plastic. The intestines are trying to move along the irritant quickly by contracting. Embrace the Diarrhea(i just wanted to write that), don’t make your dog hold it, make sure your pup drinks plenty of water in the meantime. Here’s a Home Remedy: Liquid Fast
    • Don’t feed your dog solid foods for the first 24 to 48 hours.
    • Make sure your dog drinks plenty of water.
    • Make a broth from veggies, rice, some meat or bone and naturally brewed soy sauce, I used a small amount of Kikkoman. It provides sodium and amino acids.
    • Just feed doggie the liquid part several times a day and take him out often.

Luckily Banjo was sick on the weekend. And now for a DISCLAIMER! This is to treat a mild condition. If it’s a bloody stool or if the symptoms get worse, u gotta go to the vet.

Top 5 “Walk it Out” videos

Here are my top 5 favorite “Walk it Out” videos.
#1 is from a popular dancer from the 50-60s Gwen Verdon. I’m not sure how much editing was involved in the video but it’s amazing to see how well it syncs up to the awesome dance moves.
    #1 Fosse

    #2 Gangsta Feet!

#3 Teletubbies Walk it Out It’s surreal

See the actual Dance and Follow Along - Bama Girlz dancing to “Walk It Out” Ok, get up right now. If you sat through the first 3 vids, you need some exercise.
