what?? punk is not dead…in cuba!?
Yes, frontman of the band “Porno Para Ricardo”, Gorki Aguilar has been jailed and is awaiting trial for “social dangerousness”. His lyrics mostly insult good ol Fidel. He’s sitting in jail for speaking his mind, gee that never happens??. Here’s an accompanying news article>> Wow, i wish Greenday served imprisonment for that bratty mess of an album “American Idiot”…but we’re all good sports here. You can sign a petition here. It’s mostly in Spanish so scroll down. Thanks to www.babalublog.com for the informative news.

Faith the two legged dog
This dog was born with a deformity and it’s momma was going to eat him up. Until he was rescued by a loving family. They taught her how to hop around on her hind legs. And now, Faith the biped dog, has her very own website. I’m a sucker for these kind of stories.
And while we’re on the topic of dogs. There are two sites that I visit often when I get the urge to get another dog. I talk myself out of it since I don’t have much space and my neighbors seem to have supersonic hearing since they complain about my dog Banjo barking. Hopefully one day I can adopt a little friend for Banjo. He’s a dog’s dog. I visited http://cuddlycanines.com and there are some dogs that are in need of foster homes..ohhh, i’m so tempted to contact them. The other website i visit is http://beaglesandbuddies.com this is where i adopted Banjo. This website has alot of other educational links as well. Both of these shelter are in Southern California. Ok back to work….

Eggs have always there for me when the fridge was barren and empty. Thank you eggs. Here’s a tasty recipe i’d like to try from the LA times:
Total time: 20 to 30 minutes
Servings: 4
4 slices rustic bread, about
1/2 inch thick
1 tablespoon clarified butter or olive oil
1 clove garlic, cut in half
6 eggs, at room temperature
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of white pepper
4 slices prosciutto di Parma
